Average game. Nothing special. poor graphics......
Being a massive fan of DBZ since Dragonball and watching every series multiple times, this was a must for me. If your willing to look past the necessary elements thrown in to make it more RPG’ish then your in for a nostalgia trip that Finally does this Anime justice (before this Legacy of Goku carried the torch). It misses some of the key one liners and memorable moments but so far I am 30hrs in and just hitting the Android Saga( due to the fact I’m taking the time to explore and hit trophy marks). Excellent point of note that if your new and DBZ takes your fancy then head out now and buy it!!
This is by far the best dragon ball game out, made me feel like a kid again eating my coco pops before school infront of the tv watching cheeze tv. Must buy for any dragonball fan.
With a length of over 40 hours to get through the main story, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot might linger a bit too long for those looking for a varied experience, as the variety in sidequests is incredibly lacking. While everything looks pretty enough and with a healthy dose of fanservice and nostalgia for those who are diehard Dragon Ball Z fans, it often feels like more effort than it’s worth.
Fantastic details in its world and UI design; Tells the entire Dragon Ball Z story; Huge amount of fanservice;
Lacklustre sidequests; Bosses can come across as damage sponges; Frustrating combat controls;
