When I'd finally slain my first dragon in , I felt a little sad at the thought that I was probably beginning to exhaust its seemingly endless stream of content. But then I saw the quest ticker: "Dragons Slayed - 1 out of 10." In all my hours, I had only ever seen three.

'Dragon Age: Inquisition' vies with ' Diablo ' for the spot of best RPG currently available on the Xbox One. It avoids the grind endemic to games of its kind and has a good story on top of an even better open world.

Bioware games have settled into a consistent pattern over the past decade or so: Step 1: Allow the player to create their own character. Step 2: Add rich, endearing, well-written, and highly date-able companions. Step 3: Create iffy game mechanics that may (or may not) work well.

Dragon Age: Inquisition makes up for the disappointment of Dragon Age II spectacularly with a great story, deep characters, massive lands to traverse and hundreds of quests to get your teeth into. It may be a little rough around the edges in parts, but Bioware have really outdone themselves here.

This is a very immersive game, lots of quests, but can be difficult because your actions and choices DO matter. You have to keep track of the plot otherwise you might end up having to reload from a previous save, that is if you keep a decent number of saves.

It's been three and a half years since Dragon Age 2 was released and a lot has come to pass in the gaming world in the meantime. Has Inquisition been worth the wait? I brought along enough food and drink to last me a couple of days, and travelled to Thedas in search of an answer.

" Dragon Age: Inquisition " is a big answer to those who didn't care for Dragon Age 2; and is also a great introduction to the series for new players. The game plays well, looks great and has a huge amount to do, whilst the influence/ power mechanic really encourages you to go deeper into the game...

Seems a bit boring. The spellcaster class is basically the same as a "magic archer", which can be a bit boring. I liked the older dragon age games better, where you could explore dungeons, etc.

I bought the game on Black Friday, got a killer deal! Needed it to add to the collection. I was disappointed in the way it was shipped. They used an over sized box, no padding so it was bouncing around in the box but it was fine no damage.
