Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS4)

The latest from BioWare begs the question - can Dragon Age: Inquisition breathe life into the franchise and reignite its glory? Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a humongous game that one play through is not enough to explore the continent of Thedas. The game is aesthetically pleasing; has a great storyline; and good replay ability. Overall, Bioware has developed one of the best games of the year.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Rules RPGs

Dragon Age: Inquisition builds upon many of the traditions that made the series so beloved by role-players over the years, while also setting its own path and creating a new game that can – and often does – stand apart in many ways from everything that came before.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Overall this game is amazing and makes up for the missteps of Bioware's previous two games (Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3) and if you have a spare 100 hours this game is a must buy and really is a game you have to experience for yourself.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review

Overwhelming would be the best way to describe the initial foray back into the world of Dragon Age. Your quest log can become gigantic as you struggle to decide whether to close rifts or hunt for that woman's missing jewellery.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review | BioWare's Redemption

I had been wandering through the Hinterlands – the first open zone of the game – for over 3 hours. The vast area filled with things to find, quests to complete, and places to discover had absolutely consumed me.

A huge and varied world to explore; filled with detail; The return of the Tactical View + the Frostbite engine's power = fantastic; visually engaging combat; Varied narrative choices – both within the game and in Dragon Age Keep – provide plenty of replay value

Mouse & Keyboard controls aren't optimised as well as the gamepad controls, While not mandatory, the Multiplayer suite isn't as fully realised as the single player, This now raises the expectations for the next Mass Effect game; Please don't falter, BioWare

Review: Dragon Age: Inquisition

The land of Thedas is falling into darkness; Rifts are opening throughout the land and releasing demons, templars are at war with mages, and the skies swarm with dragons. At the midst of it all lies you, the survivor of a cataclysmic explosion at the Chantry, awakening with a sketchy memory and a...

Massive World To Explore; Beautiful Scenery; Vivid Imagery; Orchestral Soundtrack

Level-grinding; Tedious Side-quests; Needs More Fast-travel

Note: This review was conducted without the benefit of Dragon Age Keep, which was not available at the time. You can read more about the feature here. It's hard to say exactly when it began, but BioWare-once the gold standard for western-developed RPGs-has seen its star fade among roleplaying...

Dragon Age: Inquisition (PlayStation 4) Review

The first Dragon Age was critically acclaimed, and rightly so. It set up a rich and fantastic world with highly likeable characters, combining a truly epic story and a great combat system. The second jumped across the world and changed everything, from the style of the combat to the cast.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review

(This review may contain some mild SPOILERS with regards to the early part of the game and characters) Starting any new game can be a daunting prospect and this is particularly true of an RPG.

Huge depth and broad character back stories; Cinematic cutscenes to rival Hollywood; Beautifully realised environments

That initial uphill struggle before things open up; Combat is a touch unwieldy; The maps are next to useless
