Dragon Age: Inquisition Review | BioWare's Redemption

I had been wandering through the Hinterlands – the first open zone of the game – for over 3 hours. The vast area filled with things to find, quests to complete, and places to discover had absolutely consumed me.

A huge and varied world to explore; filled with detail; The return of the Tactical View + the Frostbite engine's power = fantastic; visually engaging combat; Varied narrative choices – both within the game and in Dragon Age Keep – provide plenty of replay value

Mouse & Keyboard controls aren't optimised as well as the gamepad controls, While not mandatory, the Multiplayer suite isn't as fully realised as the single player, This now raises the expectations for the next Mass Effect game; Please don't falter, BioWare

Review: Dragon Age: Inquisition

The land of Thedas is falling into darkness; Rifts are opening throughout the land and releasing demons, templars are at war with mages, and the skies swarm with dragons. At the midst of it all lies you, the survivor of a cataclysmic explosion at the Chantry, awakening with a sketchy memory and a...

Massive World To Explore; Beautiful Scenery; Vivid Imagery; Orchestral Soundtrack

Level-grinding; Tedious Side-quests; Needs More Fast-travel

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition creates a massive, vibrant world on a scale far greater than its predecessors, and does an excellent job of making you feel in command. The heart of this game rests with its characters, who keep you invested in the action.

An extremely dense; gigantic world; Vibrant color pallet breaths new life into combat and exploration; Expands upon the previous game in almost every way

Tactical camera doesn't always work as intended; Can feel overwhelming for newcomers; Multiplayer doesn't live up to Mass Effect 3's

With the upcoming holiday season everyone is looking for that special gift to give that will be so perfect they win Christmas. At least, that's what I assume everyone's intention is with gift giving.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review

It's difficult for any developer to create a swords-and-sandals action-RPG experience nowadays without instant comparisons to genre touchstone Skyrim. When you throw dragons into the mix, as BioWare has with Dragon Age: Inquisition, the comparison becomes inevitable.

PS4 Review - 'Dragon Age: Inquisition'

Dragon Age: Inquisition combines the storytelling BioWare is known for, with deep RPG gameplay, all on a brand new RPG game engine underpinned by EA's Frostbite 2 technology.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Review

Given the choice between fantasy and science fiction, I'm more likely to sway towards science fiction and the foreign galaxies that allow for alien races, intergalactic laser fighting, and BioWare's admittedly fantastic ability to weave the familiar with unknown races and forces in the Mass Effect...

Highly engaging combat; Switching between party members on the fly; Loads of varied abilities and magic; Deep skill trees; satisfying rhythm to leveling up; Vast; well-written world to explore; Bioware's dialog choice-based gameplay; Ease of access for newcomers; Fantastic story; art; and sound...

System-crashing bugs; Bioware's dialog choice-based gameplay

Dragon Age: Inquisition

As hard as BioWare has tried, the Dragon Age games have never quite been able to eclipse the company's past triumphs. The Baldur's Gate , Neverwinter Nights , Star Wars: The Old Republic , and Mass Effect series not only evinced the developer's ability to break new ground, but build off features...
