Works well, lots of heat settings, large size and has a safety off in built if left for too long.

the product takes ages to warm up

It's warm and cosy even on setting 2. I thought I was buying a throw, However, on reading the instructions I feel a bit duped, there are so many regulations, I was scared to use it as such. I rang the company and the lady I spoke to read the instructions with me but assured me I'd be ok using it as a throw, ie, when lounging on the couch. But when I use it I'm always aware not to crease or fold etc, which makes it unfriendly to use Therefore I would not recommend this as a throw , more of a top blanket, but then I would never use it for that purpose.
