Bloodshed marked the end of Adam Jensen's last venture, as the world's mechanically enhanced inhabitants embarked on a murderous rampage, costing millions their lives and leaving thousands more wounded.
First off, it's a pretty good game. Adam Jensen is back with style. I found the gameplay great, I love the stealth element but doing a second playthrough blasting everything is also great fun. My only grind with the game, and hence the four stars is I felt that it's only half a game.
Not a bad game, but needs to be tougher, even on hardest setting. Good gameplay and graphics.
For fans of Human Revolution's globe-trotting, grand plot that had worldwide ramifications, you'll be shocked or even disappointed to learn that Mankind Divided's plot is a far, far smaller scale, with the majority of the story focused on a terrorist attack in Prague that is established very early...
I'm left with the feeling that a sequel to Human Revolution could've told a more engaging story, but at the same time I had a really great time crouch-walking through Prague. It might not be an especially surprising sequel, but it all comes together quite nicely, with solid side missions and a mix...
It must have been a strenuous task for Eidos Montreal when creating Deus Ex: Human Revolution , especially when the studio announced that this would be their first game. Deus Ex has a legacy behind it.
While not a triumph, Mankind Divided is an extremely enjoyable cyberpunk adventure with enough content and gameplay options to keep fans of the franchise happy. The main story lacks impact and drops off completely at the end, but the missions are almost universally fantastic, allowing you to flex...
Fantastic level design and freedom to explore completely eclipse the previous game; Stunning visuals and superb side missions will keep you hooked until the end
Adam Jensen is an asshole; A condescending, unlikeable asshole, and probably a sociopath; A middling and somewhat muddled story with some pacing issues certainly doesn't help
An impressively complex action role-player, where every problem has multiple solutions, but it's not always quite as smart as it thinks it is.
The range of options, skills, and weapons available is highly impressive, with multiple solutions to every problem; Excellent level design and interesting sub-quests
The story doesn't always make much sense, and the plot is surprisingly small scale; Fiddly controls and interface; Weak voice-acting and lip-synching
Adam Jensen. Augmented badass. Interpol agent. Juggernaut Collective spy. Human Swiss Army Knife. Deadly killer. Silent threat. Damn clank. Like our cyborg hero, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the culmination of numerous working parts, but deep down at its core, the game is about power and...
Fantastic stealth-based action shooter; Complex plot with numerous modern themes; Solid graphics; Successful conveys sense of oppression; Extraordinary environmental storytelling; Rich; dense cities with a lot of verticality; Flexible augmentation system with new additions; Time-trial Breach Mode...
Ending leaves a few story threads dangling; Solid graphics; Tags
