Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

An excellent sequel that expands your toolbox and offers complex, multifaceted environments to explore.

New augmentations build on old favourites; Intricate environments with multiple routes; They've fixed boss fights; Loads of triangles

Mankind's division is awkwardly handled; Major characters are better rendered than minor ones; Too many triangles

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review

It's worth being honest right off the bat here and saying, for the record, that Deus Ex: Human Revolution was my third favourite game of the last generation, behind The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

So much choice; Combat is tight and responsive; Great setting and story

Some odd AI behaviour; Shonky cutscene animation; Not a real leap from Human Revolution

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review

Aside from the smaller-feeling plot, improves upon its excellent predecessor in every other way. Its impeccably designed environments are flush with possibility, remaining completely coherent while supporting a wide variety of routes and character builds, and Jensen's prodigious new feats of...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Digital)

As a game, 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' has the power to draw me in. That's a power seldom seen at this level, where rebellious heroes and evil organizations are a dime a dozen. With enveloping gameplay, a stimulating story, a signature art style, an excellent soundtrack, and the spin-off-worthy...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Bloodshed marked the end of Adam Jensen's last venture, as the world's mechanically enhanced inhabitants embarked on a murderous rampage, costing millions their lives and leaving thousands more wounded.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review – Cyberpunk? More Like a Glitchy Cyberflunk

If I could say I made one mistake going into Deus Ex: Mankind Divided it's that I came in with expectations. I replayed Deus Ex: Human Revolution over the last couple weeks in anticipation and assumed that Mankind Divided would come in and eclipse its little brother.

Strong cast; Cool new augmentations; Gripping narrative; Amazing setting

Bugs on top of bugs; Questionable design choices; Horrible audio/lip syncing; Too much hacking; Did I mention bugs

I'm left with the feeling that a sequel to Human Revolution could've told a more engaging story, but at the same time I had a really great time crouch-walking through Prague. It might not be an especially surprising sequel, but it all comes together quite nicely, with solid side missions and a mix...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided developer Eidos Montreal was a team founded almost exclusively to breathe life into Deus Ex. The series lay more or less defunct after the disappointing reception of 2003's Deus Ex: Invisible War and the sort-of spinoff Project: Snowblind .

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review – PS4

Mankind Divided is a thoroughly satisfying Action RPG that understands how to make stealth play enjoyable, flexible and challenging. The design of its near-future world is remarkable, and the stories held within it are compelling.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review

Adam Jensen. Augmented badass. Interpol agent. Juggernaut Collective spy. Human Swiss Army Knife. Deadly killer. Silent threat. Damn clank. Like our cyborg hero, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the culmination of numerous working parts, but deep down at its core, the game is about power and...

Fantastic stealth-based action shooter; Complex plot with numerous modern themes; Solid graphics; Successful conveys sense of oppression; Extraordinary environmental storytelling; Rich; dense cities with a lot of verticality; Flexible augmentation system with new additions; Time-trial Breach Mode...

Ending leaves a few story threads dangling; Solid graphics; Tags
