Although a variety of factors hold back Dead Island: Riptide from greatness, fans of the original will nonetheless find plenty to like. It's still one of the best zombie-killing titles out there.

This is like an extension of Dead Island. I haven't got to play much of it but I still like what I have. There seems to be a lot more zombies/undead in this one and is a bit harder in some areas. If you liked the first game then you will like this one.

This game exceeded my expectations I didn't expect much but it turned out to be a much better game then I anticipated

The second game in the Dead Island franchise. More action packed open world gameplay. Choose from 5 unique characters. Melee focused combat lets you get up close and personal with zombies. Designed for co-operative gameplay in mind.

whatever problems the first game had, they have fixed them with this game. its great fun to play and the characters are brilliant to play as.

This is a very good Zombie hack n slash loot game mixed with RPG elements. Don't go into this game considering a great story. The game play is fun and you will have a blast of a time playing this in a co-op mode.

I played Dead island a few times , before Riptide. I will compare them. Compared to Dead island, riptide has: - less better level design. The dead zones are just small chambers with 1 unique zombie inside. In Dead Island it was quiet a large internal area that you could explore.

If you love Zombies then this is the game for you! The first wasn't as good as this one, so if you didn't like this first then don't backoff this one. The combat and engine have much improved than the last dead island so its a much better game.
