A great game!

This game has a lot to offer and it's replay value is very high. The game is very fun and i recommend it to any ADULT gamer that enjoys a really great story line and mindless killing with a fun twist.(I say adult gamers because of the language and even se xual content.

The control are very good and well thought out; The story line is very involving and draws you in and before you know it you have played 5 hours and not realize you had been playing so long.

Absolutely NONE

Dark Souls 2 Review - Welcome to hell

*We'll cover the online portion of Dark Souls 2 in more detail after launch.

Inviting open-world environment that begs to be explored; A vast; exciting bestiary awaits your challenge; Huge array of weapons; armour and items makes inventory management and exploration fun

You'll die a lot; which can be immensely frustrating; Enemy AI can be; at times; appalling

Dark Souls II

As the player base over the past decade has widened considerably, difficulty has shrunk, perhaps with the notion to not alienate any potential fans. More players equates to more buyers, after all. Yet in recent years there's been a revival of those games that skew difficulty upwards.

Review: Dark Souls 2 is torment perfected

Dark Souls 2 is a landmark action RPG that is unforgettable for so many reasons, not least its immensely deep challenge framed within a sprawling, beautiful world.

Despite the despair there's a warm community experience; A fantastically designed; unforgettable world; Resolves design flaws of its predecessor; Combat is clear; fair and varied; Mercilessly difficult

Dark Souls II Review

Dark Souls II drops you into a world, after a little bit of set up and then lets you loose. There is a point to the game, there is an end game, but there is no real guidance of how to get there. This isn't a linear story driven experience, there aren't any real corridor mechanics, nothing like that.

Dark Souls II review – prepare to?obsess

A carefully considered sequel that avoids upsetting existing fans and offers an olive branch to newcomers – all the while retaining its position as one of the most challenging, and rewarding, video games of modern times.

Tweaked combat is harsh but fair, role-playing elements are more varied and transparent, and exploration is more open-ended and non-linear; Online is expanded just enough to please everyone

The game world lacks the cohesion of the original, in favour of more variety; Visuals often struggle to impress; Slightly brighter tone and non-respawning enemies may upset some

OXCGN's Dark Souls II?Review

I was fairly late to the party with Dark Souls , having only purchased the game in January of this year. I knew going in, difficulty was what the game was reknown for, but at its heart there was a vast world to explore and lore that players needed to uncover for themselves.

+ Crafted with the need for multiple playthroughs; + New Game + doesn't just increase enemy health it adds new enemies and combat animations; + Drangleic is vast open world with much to explore

- Bugs negating enemies to statues not registering your presence; - No connection to the servers meant no ability to try out Multiplayer before release

Great Installment to the Franchise

Pretty much every aspect that made Dark Souls was carried over or improved upon and it has resulted in this masterpiece. It carries a lot of what made Demon's Souls too which is actually a good thing.

Dark Souls II

Namco Bandai's newest release, Dark Souls II , takes players through a dark adventure that continues in the same world as its predecessor. Dark Souls II is not a sequel, but an entirely new game, set in the horrific world you were introduced to in Dark Souls .

Dark Souls II

For much of my playthrough, I kept thinking that if I had to choose one of the 'Souls' titles to play or recommend, it would be 'Dark Souls.' And yet 'Dark Souls II' was clearly meant to entertain the veteran 'Souls' player with a depth beyond its predecessor.
