The new DJI Osmo Pocket is a well executed 4K camera for the mobile videographer. A 3-axis stabilized Gimbal makes for a new breed of action camera.

The DJI Osmo Pocket is a three-axis gimbal with a permanently attached camera sensor. When you connect the Osmo Pocket to your compatible smartphone, it becomes a fully-contained photography and filmmaking tool that literally fits in your pocket.
Literally pocket-sized Starts up fast Easy to use Lots of fun video/photo modes Works well with or without a smartphone
No tripod mount Usage limited without buying accessories Android app missing features Still photography features very limited
These issues are disappointing, but there's still a lot to love about the DJI Osmo Pocket. It shoots video that's not only fantastic in terms of its quality, but that's also rock steady, whether you're standing still, walking, riding or running.
3-axis stabiliser gives rock steady video; Lots of useful modes to play with; Shoots at up to 4K 60fps
No wireless built in; Not waterproof without case; Lacks a tripod thread
The Osmo Pocket won't appeal to everyone and it isn't an action camera to rival a GoPro: it isn't rugged or waterproof. But it does have a 3-axis gimbal which does an excellent job of delivering super-smooth video.
Small and smooth. Some features that are missing or lacking draw the grade. Update: The new FW update solved many of the initial childhood diseases.
The Osmo Pocket is the world's smallest 4K camera with a three-axis mechanical gimbal. Designed for vloggers, YouTubers and budding Edgar Wrights, it's about the size of a Mars bar and weighs just 116g.
Shoots smooth; stabilised video in all lighting conditions; Incredibly compact and genuinely pocketable; App offers lots of depth and versatility; Great vlogging mode; Good battery life for its size
Needs accessories to unlock its full potential; Autofocus can occasionally be sluggish; Audio quality is only average; Not waterproof without a case; No livestreaming
We didn't know what to think about the Osmo Pocket when DJI announced the device earlier this month. It's basically a tiny drone camera and three-axis gimbal on a stick. There's a little screen so you can see what you're filming and some smart features that help you track subjects.
Fantastic image stabilization and neat shooting modes

Bought this at the Henrys on Kenaston. I was surprised at how small the box was in comparison to other gimbals. The firmware update makes a big difference in sound quality, focusing and slow motion video. The gimbal is smooth and fast. The camera takes good photos in bright light.
First up - I usually purchase these products online however after speaking to an informative sales assistant @ Garden City I was sold. The DJI Osmo Pocket is something I will use more than the previous version as its so quick to use. I have done a video review below of it.
Easy to use; Compact; Build quality; Battery life; Screen size
