Easy to fly the combo pack is good
Best feature is the controllability. The drone is very stable in winds and at height it stop, turns, goes left or right, forwards or backwards, rises and falls, just as one would wish the controller is exceptionally well modulated the cine mode is smooth as can be the camera is excellent. The extra batteries are absolutely necessary. My only lamentation is that the drone itself can't be started remotely.
The Mavic Mini Drone is the perfect starter drone its easy to fly and takes amazing vidoe's and still pictures
Great camera and compact
Easy to set up and really easy to fly. The fly more combo gives you a handy little case and the extra batteries are good to have. Picture quality is great for such a little unit
If you're after an easy, affordable way to get into the world of drones, the Mavic Mini is a superb option. Considering its size and how inexpensive it is, the performance and features on offer are fantastic.
Much more affordable than any previous DJI drone; Easy to fly; Smooth footage; QuickShot modes are fun to use; Battery life is decent for the size
GPS/Location didn't work for remembering take-off point; It won't like strong winds; QuickShot options limited compared to bigger models; Slow charging batteries
The Mavic Mini takes everything DJI has learned about flying cameras and crams it into the smallest drone from the company to date. At just 249 grams, it’s light and incredibly portable. It still flies like a champ and comes with a solid camera for the price.
Small yet capable in the air; Solid camera performance with some caveats; Stellar battery life
Video link a little flaky at times; Lacks some core camera features; Fewer smart modes
An exceptional model for beginners that is still capable enough to keep up as you get a bit more experienced
Good video quality; incredibly portable; long flight time; relatively inexpensive
No obstacle avoidance; lacks some advanced camera and flight features; No obstacle avoidance; lacks some advanced camera and flight features
“DJI’s Mavic Mini is a relaxing return to the basics, but I wouldn’t want to live with it.”
Easy to start flying; Stable; reliable manners; Extremely light and compact; Impressive battery life; No FAA registration required
No obstacle avoidance; No 4K video; Lackluster video transmission system
