Bought this adapter to replace an almost new, failing adapter -- a generic, postage stamp sized adapters which ran hot and died after 4 months. This D-Link adapter (DWA-182, ver C) is the size of a pack of gum. It has ventilation along both sides and is only slightly warmer than room temperature.

What rubbish worked for about a week . Now just drops out every ten seconds to 2mins. Keep your purchase docket your going to need it

Don't buy this adapter. I've had nothing but problems trying to get consistent, failure free usage. Find another brand, but stay away from this.
