Just what I needed

My old Linksys router failed on me so I started to look around for a new comparable router. I ended up buying this as it was the lowest price and supports the new AC standard. My coverage is only slightly better but my speed seems to improved on my Samsung S3 phone, ipad 2 and Dell laptop.

The foldout instruction sheet that comes with this router is pretty good. I performed a trouble-free browser installation. Rreceived this router in just a few days with free shipping and was up and running in about 10 minutes or less.

terrible!

Effectively blocks Netflix, thought it was an issue with my dvd player and wasted a day trying to figure it out. Went back to my old WAP and switches.....got Netflix back and faster speeds.

Decent for a small home network!

Also the power cord is very short, even when the unit is on the top of a desk. Some prefer to keep a router up as high as possible for a better signal range, if this is the case then you must add a cable or power strip to power the unit up.

Setup was simple, once connected simply browse to the router per the instructions and it walks you through with no problems; The internet Connection Setup Wizard and the Wireless Network Setup Wizard both work well, pretty much just enter the information it asks for and you are up and running in no...

When adjusting settings in the browser UI after a few minutes it will auto time out and require you to log back in; Could not find a shut off for this feature, it does serve a purpose to keep the router secure, but is a bit of a pain when you are configuring and customizing your settings, and if you...

Works perfectly

I use this router in an apartment. The coverage is more than enough. Both bands work, no interference. Everything is just fine. I wish it had a USB connection, but I guess it's good for the money. And it has the ac standard if you have other devices that support it.

Easy To Set Up; Reliable connection

Constantly disconnects wireless clients

I bought this router as I needed a dual band router. I have had the item a week - and it constantly kicks my wireless devices off of the network, resulting in failed downloads, youtube stopping etc.

Great price; work very good

Excellent purchase. I was told when purchasing it was only intended for a small home, which was good to know.

... as I opened it but that was fast and easy to do

I had to download the current drivers as soon as I opened it but that was fast and easy to do. So far have not had any connectivity issues. It has a very good range of connectivity. I can get a strong signal anywhere in my 2900 square foot home and even in my entire back yard. pretty happy with it

Got this router on sale to upgrade my existing router. an older n150. Wanted something that would allow more then one person to be online at at time without slowing the internet to a crawl.

D-Link DIR-810L

This is the new entry level router in D-Link's impressive DIR-8xx series, of which the DIR-880L flagship is our current benchmark. Sitting at the opposite end of the scale, the 810L sports an ultra-low price point to bring 802.11ac to the masses but are the inevitable compromises too much?

Excellent range performance for the price; Smart; compact design; Simple setup; Incredibly low price

Throttled peak speeds a waste; Fast Ethernet; No USB port
