Creative Sound Blaster X H5

I have reviewed so many headsets in the past month alone. Audio can really be so different to the person that your asking. Everyone hears sound differently. Gaming headsets can be critical when it comes to just the right moment, for that perfect defeat of your enemies.

Rubbish. Very dissapointed

These sound awful. Initially thought I hadn't plugged them in properly but they are just not very good. I got some beats headphones as a freebie and they are much much better. The only thing these have going for them is that the are very comfortable.

Creative Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition review

Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition is a good, minimalist attempt at an affordable gaming headset. But you're probably better off spending a little more for Creative's higher end model.

Comfort; Durable; EQ frequency designed for games; Tight directional mic

Low mid bump; Disappointing bass response; No digital audio

I love these headphones

I love these headphones. Noise cancellation is good and you feel immersed in your music or game. I took the analog version, so I can use it on my cell phone, computer or PS. I used to have a USB/analog, I really don't like those. Too many cable and the USB cable is always a pain at the end.

Creative Sound BlasterX H5 Headset

The Creative Sound BlasterX H5 is one of the few headsets that appears to have been designed with the rigors of frequent gaming in mind. The even sound is suitable for a variety of platforms, and it's obviously been set up to get the most out of the PS4 and Xbox One's controller connections.

Creative Sound BlasterX H5 Review

It's been a good few years since we last saw a headset from Creative, but the company recently launched a new range of gaming headsets within its Sound BlasterX family. In total, there are four new headsets, including three over-ear and one in-ear.

If you're looking at a sub-$150 gaming headset, there's not much better than the BlasterX H5.

The clarity; The feel; The price

The rumbling bass; The accessories; Playing at full speed ahead

Highly recommended

These are a fantastic set of headphones, easily the most comfortable I've ever used. I wasn't familiar with the brand beforehand, but they definitely seem to know what they're doing (where gaming headsets are concerned anyway).

Great Headphones

Worth every penny I paid.

My wife only lets me use headphones so I started a search; First bought Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset; Liked them and tried several others but always went back to Creative; For several years I used them and noticed the Creative Sound Blaster Inferno.

The headset is super light and comfy. Seals out external sounds very well. Bass is tight and punchy. Not all is completely rosy however, as some sounds (such as some cymbals) seem over-stressed. This was a great deal when it was on sale for $110.

Sound quality; Bass; comfort

Occasionally high pitched sounds are over stressed; could use more clamping force
