Headsets are devices I've avoided most of me life. Being a PC gamer, it seems odd to say this. On the other hand, when I would try a headset, I would find them, hot, uncomfortable, and lacking the type of sound quality I've come to expect from a good pair of book shelf speakers with a quality...
Nice gaming Aesthetic; Quality Construction; Very Comfortable; Excellent sound and mic Performance
None
Plenty of gaming headsets overdose on lights, extra features and superfluous additions that don't actually give any improvement to sound quality, making you question why you've paid over the odds for it in the first place.
Summary: One of the best headsets we have used in recent times. Quality audio experience, good platform support and impressive build quality.
Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition is a good, minimalist attempt at an affordable gaming headset. But you're probably better off spending a little more for Creative's higher end model.
Comfort; Durable; EQ frequency designed for games; Tight directional mic
Low mid bump; Disappointing bass response; No digital audio
Our experience with the Creative Sound BlasterX H5 was quite positive, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. If you prefer a neutral sound and would rather manually adjust the resulting acoustics through an equalizer, try Creative's Sound BlasterX H5 out for yourself.
Patented ear piece and frame suspension; Great comfort & fit; Good mic quality; Superb audio experience
Price; Only one-year warranty
I love these headphones. Noise cancellation is good and you feel immersed in your music or game. I took the analog version, so I can use it on my cell phone, computer or PS. I used to have a USB/analog, I really don't like those. Too many cable and the USB cable is always a pain at the end.
This product is a waste of money. I am never buying from HDE ever again.
