Excellent pc speakers good for most games and music
The Creative Gigaworks T40 speakers are a combination of sleek aesthetics and impressive sound quality. Clear and powerful with classics and rock 'n roll. Very easy to set up.
Pair these with a solid subwoofer and enjoy premium grade audio.
Got these for my Dad expecting them to be good but not as good as they are. The T40's have a nice clear, balanced and detailed sound compared to a lot of computer speakers. They are not as powerful as a set up with a sub, they are by no means feeble but what they lack in power, they make up with...
The Creative GigaWorks T40 speaker system is a great solution for people looking for an upgrade to the lousy stock speakers that came with their PC. With a street price of around $125 in many places, the GigaWorks T40 speakers deliver great sound without taking up too much space on your desktop.
excellent highs and midrange performance; very cool looking desktop speakers; small footprint
small drivers limit bass response; does not play as loud as some systems; low level from the headphone jack
These have really excellent sound! They are very impressive for their size! While they are expensive I think they are excellent value. Probably a case of you get what you pay for.
Creative have finally released their much anticipated Gigaworks T40 speakers that retail for a recommend price of $199 that not only boasts decent sound quality and appearance but is quite affordable in relation to other similar products on the market.
I got a hold of these speakers for space saving reasons as I was packing away my creative 7.1 speaker system. At first I was worried about the volume and bass, but these speakers have ALOT of volume and a fair amount of bass for a set without a sub.
My Razer Mako 2.1 speakers stopped working for unknow reasons so I grabbed a pair of these on sale. The sound is no where near the Razer's but then neither is the price. I find the control buttons somewhat awkward, and the speakers would only stop buzzing when I used the front jack.
