The inherent problem with the overwhelming majority of computer speakers is that they're almost always dreadful. They look pretty, but they sound awful. And that's how it's been for a long time now.

We were sceptical of Creative's grand claims for its latest 2.1 speaker set, but the GigaWorks T3 quickly lived up to its billing of musical excellence. The speakers sounds rich, detailed and precise, while the bass is deep and throbbing.

How often do you use your PC to listen to music? Whether it's grooving at a workplace desk or pumping out playlists at home, we tend to use our PCs as our secondary music player. Which makes it a crying shame that so many computer speakers are so dire.

Love at first Note
I have a flat screen TV and find that when you mount a TV, external speakers can really take away from the chic design. I had been on a hunt for a quality speaker I can use for music, movies and TV that had powerful, clear, crisp, sound with a small to non-existent sub woofer under $500.00.

Gigaworks T3 rule !
For the price, it's size , wow does it pack a punch ! The sound is so clear and the bass is really deep . I have the bass almost set to minimum, if you put the basson maximum , the bass literaly just ridiculous. Even at the lowest the you can still feel the bass through the floor, incredible...

Nice, probably the best 2.1 system
Finally someone puts together a product to take on the Bose Companion 3, which are over-rated and dont sound like these. Well designed and put together with nothing like stands, to buy. You will enjoy all sorts of music with this set-up. I would but these over the Bose anytime.
Pros:
- 2.1 system separate volume control volume control has input and headphone jacks the satellites come with their own stands - dont have to buy separately
- good bass and highs

Creative Gigaworks T3
The Creative Gigaworks T3 is a speaker system that aims to top the 2.1 PC speaker market, which I think, they did. The 2.1 system is comparable to Bose Companion 3, and Logitech Z2300.
Pros:
- Treble and mid-range clarity
- Very powerful bass with a space efficient design
- Eye catching satellite design with a notable quality construction
- Smooth volume control pod w/ aux & headphone jack
- Low standby power consumption
- Easy straight forward plug'n'play
Cons:
- Slightly expensive when compared to other competitors

These are one of the best PC speakers available today and are unbeatable at this price point. It has smooth bass that drips with quality. Mid and highs are also better than most of the competition. All I feel is that it is worth of money. Just go for it.
