Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Nintendo Switch review – switching mascots
Reviewing remasters is always difficult because you're essentially critiquing two entirely unconnected things: the quality of the remaster itself and whether the original game still stands up to scrutiny.
Pros:
- High quality remaster that improves everything from the graphics to the controls
- Good value for money and Crash still has a lot of charm
Cons:
- The original games were always very simplistic, and they seem even more limited today
- Racing sections are particularly poor
- Switch version doesn't look as good as PS4
