Pre-order Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy In 1996, who would have thought that a comical rendition of a marsupial from Down Under would define the jump-and-run era on Sony's PlayStation console
Nintendo diehards probably never had a chance to play the original Crash games, most of them I knew looked down their noses on the bandicoot from their lofty, free-roaming 3D platformer thrones. They were right in a way, Crash Bandicoot was no Mario, but his games were something else entirely.
Oh the 90s. As Mario and Sonic shot to fame as the mascots for their consoles, they left a plethora of inferior 2d platformers and in their wake. Zool, Busby, Cool Spot and a number of others all tried and failed to capture the top notch gameplay of Nintendo and Sega's flagship games, not to mention...
While it's not as though this is the first time that Crash Bandicoot has been on a Nintendo platform, the same can't be said of his original trilogy of games. The first three Crash Bandicoot games (Crash BandicootCrash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped) were all...
Crash has hit the Switch, bringing a very solid trio of platformers to Nintendo's console. As you might imagine though, it's not prefect.
There's a golden glow around memories that gets brighter with age, but it also tends to distract from old frustrations. If you're ready for a quick trip - and I mean quick - down memory lane, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy doesn't disappoint.
This game trilogy came out originally on the PlayStation but it has never played or looked better. Plus with the Nintendo switch version you can play portability this is a must have. Especially for the price which is usually under 40$ because it's on sale. This is a must own
This is my all time favorite from my childhood. When I saw this in the store I couldn't pass it up had to get it! I am so glad that I bought this. It has been the center of many game nights in our house. Once you start playing you cant stop. I love that it is the three different games in one.
Reviewing remasters is always difficult because you're essentially critiquing two entirely unconnected things: the quality of the remaster itself and whether the original game still stands up to scrutiny.
High quality remaster that improves everything from the graphics to the controls; Good value for money and Crash still has a lot of charm
The original games were always very simplistic, and they seem even more limited today; Racing sections are particularly poor; Switch version doesn't look as good as PS4
