Corsair Vengeance 1300 Review
Good quality headphones are essential for hardcore gamers, whether it's curiously listening to in game audio or whether it's shouting commands to your teammates. Gaming headphones follow a different vertical in terms of performance, as compared to music headphones with relatively sharper sounds.

Considering the price point, the Corsair Vengeance 1300 is a solid entry-level buy when it comes to gaming headsets. While it's probably not the best for first-person shooters, it'll perform adequately for RPGs and other types of online games.

Corsair Vengeance 1300 Gaming Headset Review (Hardware, PC)
I enjoyed using these for many different applications. In both Steam Chat and Teamspeak, the mic picked up my voice flawlessly and cut out a lot of background noise. They have come in handy while using Skype as well. And when you don't need it, the mic boom tucks out of the way nicely.

Comfortable, Adjustable, Quality
the $70+ range for a headset is getting to a marker where you start expecting quality. It may not be hugely expensive at that price but none the less it's not shrug-able. I feel the price vs quality really delivers here.
Pros:
- Well made feel
- the black design is attractive long cord with volume control is convenient ear pads are comfy
- as previous review said
- they are large so outside noise can break through but I typically cant make out any defined noise
- especially my wife and son chattering in the background
- i dont
Cons:
- occasional outside noise can be heard but not even close to distracting or irritating - its a rare occurrence
- at least for me I'd say this is a very person to person based design
- I personally like the microphone being encased but my wife hates the feature and opted for a different style headset,

The Best Headphone for a mid £50 price
This Headset is the master in it's class - using the Asus Xonar DG the sounds emitted from the magneto cups are mind blowing - the use of it's large ear-cups are intelligently laid out.

Vengeance 1300
I shopped around and looked at many different headsets and eventually settled with this one, the 1300. It's comfortable to wear, the mic works great, absolutely zero static as some others may have reported. I am hooked into an ASUS Xonar sound card.

Great Headphones!
My son uses these headphones with an on-line language program to help him learn Russian. After the Russian lesson, he uses them to play games and listen to music.
