Corsair Flash Voyager Slider Review

The popular Corsair Flash Voyager is shockproof, rugged and water resistant thanks to its all-rubber shell. The Flash Voyager GT adds faster read and write speeds while retaining exactly the same design. Then there's Flash Voyager Mini, which is small enough to be attached to your keychain.

Write speed

Good flash for keep data and for transfer data to another computer.

Very nice case; Plastic + rubber

Write speed for USB 3.0 very slow for this type flash !! Around 18 Megabyte per second; Seems like USB 2.0 speed or less (USB 2 maximum 22-25 MB/SEC USB 3 flash should write speed from 28 to 35 Mb /sec

Fast and Worth the Money...

Bought this USB drive to replace my old Duracell 16gb (2.0) Drive. Compared to it, this one is much faster, works well with my computer (Which is quite old now), and is great on my PS3. I recommend it.

It's a thumb drive. Fast, convenient and much speedier than a 2.0.

Corsair Flash Voyager Slider USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review indicates that although it is a 64GB Pen drive, its demand in the market has been affected because of the heftier price tag it carries, especially in nation where half of the populations go for something affordable and advanced.

Convenient cap-less design; Full compatibility with USB 2.0; 5 year warranty; Plug-n-Play compatible

A bit too wide; A tad too expensive; Looks are rugged

Excellent product

I always try to use Corsair products whenever possible. I have used this flash drive as back up to my cds collection which I ripped to flac. Not full 5 stars because price is too strong.

I benchmarked this USB stick with file sizes of 100MB, 500MB, and 1300MB and got the following transfer speeds: USB-2: Read 29 MB/sec Write 25 MB/sec USB-3: Read 82 MB/sec Write 43 MB/sec Of these figures, the USB-3 write speed is what differentiates it from cheaper sticks; a lot of them only write...

Your standard USB 3.0 Flash Drive with some quirks

As far as a cheaper priced flash drive it does what it is advertised to do. I feel like if Corsair makes a revision in the future it would be to fix the Mac OS stability/recognition issues and update the case materials. Transfer rates are as advertised but they could also be better.

USB 3.0 Interface Textured Anti-Slip Grip Unique Slider Design - No Cap! Quality Brand Name Solid Warranty Low price This flash drive performs slightly under advertised speeds at: USB 3.0 - |Read 67-68 mb/s | Write 18-19 mb/s | USB 2.0 - | Read 30-32 mb/s | Write 17-18 mb/s | It's manufactured by a...

Problems being recognized by Mac OS Cheap Plastic Very Thick Case Bright LED I noticed a problem with some Intel iMac's at my college; I tried (using FAT32 format) to use it in a complete MAC OS environment and only about 4 in 10 iMacs recognized it (I tried all USB ports including the keyboards for...
