Durability & Appearance: The Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB is covered in a protective water resistant rubber coating. Although I didn't throw the drive at wall or any other extreme activity it is obviously very durable for everyday use.

* Complete lack of documentation, not that you really need an instruction manual for a flash drive but something to read about it would have been nice.
* Corsair; One of the top elite memory manufactures out there with great products and support.
* While the nice rubbery shell offers good protection against drops; it adds some bulk to the drive; enough that I cannot use the adjacent USB plugs; but this I guess is the tradeoff for protection.
This is the best flash drive EVAR!! Just bought 12, one for everyone in my family, including the dog, WHY NOT?! I would reccomend this to anyone with a K computer, theyre .. ubfuogbauisgn sorry, had to wipe jizz off my keyboard..
USB drives have become the norm, with many of us carrying them round on our necks; the floppy disc is officially dead due to the huge amounts of data that can be transferred and easily using USB.
Ridiculously fast; Large size available (max.
Not the best looking; Damn clam shell packaging
Cosair continues to dominate the performance flash memory market.
Tested speed with crystaldisk 1000MB read: 30MB/s write: 22.6MB/s. My old normal flash voyager 8GB(blue) read: 29MB/s write: 9.5MB/s. As always it got too bright activity light that can be annoying when plugged in on the side of the tv.
Pretty excellent for a USB flash drive... it is fairly sturdy rubber construction, the cap is easily lost but Corsair has a free lost cap replacement program up to 5 caps I think... Transfer speed is around 21 MB/Second reading, and around 9 MB/Second writing for me in general use...
But not all USB drives are created equal and only some deliver on all the promises of speedy transfer times, ease of use and rugged build quality. Today I have the Corsair Voyager GT 2GB to evaluate, and we will see if it lives up to the expectation as the new standard for a portable data storage...
Fast read and write speeds; very rugged build quality; unique styling; ReadyBoost support
Unique styling makes the drive a bit bulky
USB flash drives have been around for quite some time now. Out of all the drives I've ever reviewed my favorite line of drives has to be the Flash Voyager series from Corsair. The main reason is because they are basically indestructible.
As always a great design; Very durable; Faster than previous versions
Write speeds were a little off
What do you get when you combine USB 3.0 speeds, 32GB of storage space, and rugged construction that is both water-resistant and shockproof? You get the Corsair Flash Voyager GT ($64.99 direct for 32GB), a rough-and-tumble flash drive that outpaces its slower cousin, the Corsair Flash Voyager USB...
Rugged rubber body seals out moisture and protects against bumps; High capacity and decent speeds with a low price per gigabyte
Bulky design; Easy to lose cap
