My first Modular PSU, love it! More power than I need, but not much more money than a less powered one. 850W seemed to be a sweet spot for value.

Best power supply I've owned I usually go for the cheaper brands but this power supply is super quiet and under low load its doesn't spin :

Quiet VERY Quiet, Time will tell now if it stands up to Corsair's high standard. My frist full modular PSU, did the research their were newer PSU coming out but the price was good and reviews were great for this model.
Great product, Corsair has never let me down with any product I have bought. Only thing is I wanted to turn on the fan to exhaust hot air coming from the GPU in my SFF case, but still amazing it rarely turns on even while gaming.
Absolutely great PSU
Bought this brand new along with all the other components in the computer. Install was easy and straightforward directions were easy to understand and follow. Cable routing and management was nice I like how the entire unit is modular. That really does help clean up unnecessary wiring in your case.
Corsair revamped, well better put, updated the 2015 RM850x, or RMx series, towards 2018. There's nothing revolutionary to be found other than the PSU internally has some smaller components, and the 850 Watt model for example now isn't 18, but 16cm in length.
Arrived with a shorted sata cable. Luckily the PSU comes with two, and I only needed one. However... I went through my entire build, and spent hours doing pro level cable management... only to have to tear the entire thing apart and bread board trouble shoot it. Turns out the sata cable had a short.
For anyone counting, Corsair's RM750x and RM850x are the only two RMx models available in white, and the company says it has no plans to offer the other three capacities in this distinctive color. Today's review zeros in on the RM850x White, which is architecturally identical to the black RM850x.
Full power at 47°C; Silent; Ripple; Load regulation; High performance 5VSB rail; EMI results; Transient response at +12V; Build quality; Hold-up time; Accurate power ok signal; Full protection set; Fully modular; Warranty; White paint-job; Individually sleeved cables
In-cable caps might not look so nice to some ultra sensitive users; No fan test button; Distance between 4-pin Molex connectors; Not among the most efficient in this category; Lacks a bypass relay for the NTC thermistor
Corsair has struck gold with PSUs. First coming to prominence with the HX range back in 2009, Corsair has now separated its offerings into six series, with further subdivisions in each.
Premium electrical performance; Competitive pricing; Super ripple results; Seven-year warranty; Flat cabling
Is this the end for Corsair Link
