Let me start off by saying I'm not a novice builder. I got this PSU for a new gaming rig. It was working fine for the first 10 hours before I heard a loud pop. Freaking out - I turned the unit off and once O tried to turn it on again all I would get is a loud click and my PC would not boot.

"Great psu, bonus with the sleeved cables."

Great psu, bonus with the sleeved cables. The cables cost $90 alone, so you are actually saving money going with this version & it looks great with a white case.

Corsair RM750x 750W Power Supply Review

We enter testing today of the RM750x with a bit of trepidation as, over the years, we have seen a number of 750W power supplies from Corsair with very mixed results. On top of that, we never did review the original RM750x and the RM series unit we saw at 750W was heavily flawed.

Too early to talk about reliability. But so far problem free operation.

Corsair RM750x PSU : Improving On A Classic

Corsair's second-gen RM850x power supply impressed us in our recent review , so we were relatively confident that the company's updated RM750x would as well. As their names indicate, a mere 100W of maximum capacity separate the two models. And yet the RM750x costs $20 less, landing at $110.

Excellent ripple suppression; Quiet across its operating range; Solid build quality; Fully modular; 2x EPS & 4x PCIe connectors; Smaller dimensions than its predecessor; 10-year warranty

In-cable capacitors; Short distance between peripheral connectors; No fan-test button

Corsair RM750x 750W (2018)

Corsair is a company that likes to keep their products up to date. Not long ago, they replaced their venerable AX1500i with something even more powerful and awesome. They're at it again today with a freshened up version of their more budget friendly RM750x. Let's find out what's different.

Mine was DOA

I gave it two stars instead of one because Memory Express had a straight forward return policy. Otherwise this is a piece of junk. I'll stick with Thermaltake for my power and Corsair for my RAM cuz they do make good RAM.

Well I'm sure the silent fan is cool but this prevented me from seeing if the unit even had power The all black ribbon cables were nice I guess

Dead on Arrival Boring looking case Does not have single connector cables for when you only need one connection; Mainly for looks - all the others seem to have the same problem

Quiet, clean power

Power Supply is very stable across all voltage ranges. It runs very cool and extremely quiet inside a Cooler Master HAF case. Powers an AMD based system with ASUS board with single GeForce graphics card and a 4 disk SSD/SATA array as well as BlueRay R/W drive..

It helps gaming

In a nutshell, it has enhanced my gaming greatly. Playing bigger games that need more power. If you play the likes of newer games such as Tomb Raider, Far crys, or Little Nightmares, get this for your computer.

Great product

Purchased this RMx because I didn't need the higher-end version with programs and all the extras, since my motherboard already has functionally similar programs.

Comes with a LOT of cables for every device you might need to install
