Corsair RM750 750 W

The Corsair RM750 only costs slightly less than the RM750x, and the latter comes with the topnotch NR135L fan and Japanese caps. That said, the RM750 has jaw-dropping efficiency at very light and light loads and is compatible with the new Modern Standby mode in Windows 10, meaning it can wake up the...

Full power at 47 °C; Good overall performance; Quiet operation; Supports Modern Standby mode; Highly efficient at super light and light loads; Fully modular; 2x EPS and 6x PCIe connectors; Ten-year warranty

Small price difference to the RM750x (2018; No option to deactivate semi-passive operation; The RMx units come with a better fan and higher-quality secondary side capacitors; Weak transient response at 3.3V; Small distance between peripheral connectors

failed in under a year.

Seems to have failed in only 4 months, not very impressive. will go down to 1 star if they don't offer cross shipping on replacement... that is... if they ever reply to the support ticket.

Excellent thus far

Excellent thus far. Easy to install. Cable braiding is great and high quality. Fancy bag that holds the cables was a pleasant surprise. Instruction were clear. Overall great quality item.

The best power supply I've owned

I was surprised to see how low the power usage was for the build so I ended up switching it out with a Corsair CX450M PS and am now using the RM750i on my test bench. Still liking the digital link.

This power supply is silent; The fan doesn't kick in until your build is pulling over 300 watts Corsair Link Digital monitors performance, temps, fans speed; Very cool Very stable power as per posted reviews

Price if not purchased on sale; I got it on sale with a $20 rebate; (Still waiting for that rebate though after 2 months

Great power supply for Skylake, too!

I bought this in late 2013 to power a Haswell build. It has been solid as a rock since then. I have just replaced that build with a Skylake build and when I was speccing things out, I decided to stick with this PSU to save a few bucks.

Virtually silent; Dependable; Meets Skylake requirements; Using it with an i5 6600k and a z170 chipset mobo

Not any really; There are competing PSUs that cost a bit more and have a few more features (like Corsair's RMi line) but that is no reason to knock this PSU

Update: I have now had this for two years and it has been a fucking rock solid champion. Dead silent and super reliable. I bought this because of the silence. It is practically inaudible at FULL speed. I had to keep the PSU 50cm from my ear to even detect any sound.

Works great so far. The included cables are detachable makes cable management easier

great for mid/high end build. the con is more of an inconvenience than a con. i bought this because i did not want to spend 300$ on corsair's AX series psu's and didn't want orange of the rmi series. the poswer supply is a major step above my old one (insignia 550W) for so so many ways

silent even when fans is spinning at 100; it stays at 30 celcius with 50% load; 7 year parts and labour warranty; came with more cables than needed; corsair link is nice but i wished there was a bit more control over the fan and such; cables a lone enough to go through with a hidden cable build

sata power cables (4 sata 1 cable) could be longer in between each connector; my pce is built of 4 500gb sata ssd's and its almost impossible to connect all 4 on the same cable
