Easily installed. I installed it and after a few days got a really nice gaming tower for a friend cheap. So know this is just a backup for the new tower.
Not the most efficient at very low loads, but silent at very low loads - which is what I wanted for a silent home server 25W-75W max. Good selection of black sleeved, black cables, and fully modular. Don't have any coil whine or buzzing at all, very happy about that.
Corsair comes to us today with a brand new power supply - a fully modular 650 watt 80 Plus Gold unit from their new RM line of units. This unit is aimed for the silent computing crowd, and bears such features as a fanless mode as well as Corsair Link support. Time to put it through its paces.
Corsair RM650 Power Supply Review Introduction Corsair is perhaps the most active company in the PSU market this year, which may be slightly ironic, as they originally were a memory manufacturer that diversified into the PSU market just a few years ago.
