Corsair RMi Series RM1000i Fully-Modular Power Supply Review

The RM1000i isn't cheap, clocking in at £144.95 from Overclockers UK . Of course, the old saying that you get what you pay for rings true and there's no doubt that this is a premium quality product. I'm very impressed by the latest Corsair power supply.

Fully modular cables; Incredible seven-year warranty; Exceptional ripple suppression; Semi-passive design; Fan-test button; Corsair Link; Great for overclocking; Ideal for multi GPU systems; Switchable single/multiple 12v rail; Sense wires + extra capacitors for voltage and ripple regulation

Corsair RMi RM1000i & RM750i Review

The Corsair power supplies have been at the forefront of PSU design for many years now, being the first manufacturer to allow your system to monitor your PSU's power draw and other statistics using Corsair link is only just being emulated by other manufacturers.

Corsair RM1000x Review

Kitguru says: The high power RM1000x delivers great load regulation, ripple suppression and achieves 80 Plus Gold Certification. The low noise NR135L fan only switches on when the load reaches 400watts, or higher. At £130 it is very competitively priced.

great build quality; all 105c Japanese grade capacitors; ripple suppression; type 4 cables; low noise

Corsair have so many supplies available right now; we think some people will be confused on which they need

The Corsair RM1000x and RM1000i 1000W Power Supply Review

Corsair might have started off as a computer memory manufacturer, but today they sell a number of components for PCs. One of their most active product lineups is their computer power supply units (PSUs) business, with the company offering dozens of products through six different series.

It has been ages since we have seen a power supply from Corsair that even hinted that it was anything less than of superior quality. Even then, it was a bare bones entry level unit that was simply designed to get you by and nothing more than that.

Corsair RM1000x 1000W

Corsair's been in the power supply business for quite a few years now. Lately, some have charged that they have lost their way in the marketplace, offering units that cost more than the competition and offer less performance.

Great Unit

I am using this with my Sabertooth z87 mother board, with an i7-4770k @ 3.50 GHz, two samsung SSD 500gb, 2x 8gb memory sticks, my dvd-r and a big and beautiful memory card. The unit was easy to install. It's powerful, quiet and makes it easy to upgrade with multiple plugins for each cable.

just solid

The only PSU IMO that this is in competition with is the EVGAs, and only the G2 can touch it, and that's only because the G2's cables are a dream to work with. However, this is cheaper.

lot of power for the price - Silent - Single rail

- firm cables
