Corsair HS75 XB Wireless Review

Corsair’s latest gaming headset is an undeniably impressive proposition. From the premium look of its metallic grills to the pleasingly ‘clickity clack’ scroll of its volume-wheel, this is a headset that justifies the undeniably steep price tag. As a gaming headset it’s hard to fault, made an even better value proposition by its surprisingly impressive music performance.

Overpriced terrible headset

I use this headset on my Xbox One X and its terrible, when you go out of the described range the headset disconnects and is unusable until battery dies and it recharged, have to turn headset back on at least 2 times a day because it starts giving choppy audio and disconnects.

All around decent with few complaints

Rating it 4 stars for usability and comfort. It's a fairly large fitting headset that won't be suitable for kids. I found the ear cups were too shallow and put pressure on my ears, causing discomfort and a bit of pain after a couple of hours. My ears do stick out a bit tho. I havent had this issue with other headsets. Clamp force feels fine. I like that it has a mute button rather than boom flip to mute as I find flipping the boom over time reduces longevity and can cause damage. Controls are nice. USB C is a win. No dongle required is a win. Mic has no noise cancelling. Mic sound quality is nice. Audio profile was fine. I would have liked a bit of noise cancelling on the mic but I guess that would trade off the mic sound quality.

Known issues but not game breaking

Exactly what I was expecting, google and look at reviews and theyl tell the story.

Quality at a fair price

I was amazed at the sound quality and clarity of these, improved game play as I can respond faster to footsteps around me. Easy to change controls and a super comfortable fit to the head means I can play for hours or watch movies without being bothered wearing them. I would be happy to recommend these as a good quality, clear sound and comfy head phone with a amazing sounding mic to boot.
