I use this headset for both listening to music and video conferencing, so things important to me are: comfort, microphone quality, sound quality, and sound isolation. I'm extremely impressed with build quality. It's almost as comfortable as my bose headset, and feels a lot more durable too.
I keep accidentally turning on the microphone on my other headphones and needed a pair that either did not have a mic, or had the button somewhere my jacket, accidental brushing etc wouldn't turn on the annoying Google assistant accidentally repeatedly (mad annoying when you're at the gym -_-).
Almost every gaming peripheral has one unique feature. Even the most unremarkable mouse, keyboard or headset usually has one thing - even if it's just a tiny bell or whistle - that sets it apart from the scads of competitors on the market.
Comfortable fit; Decent game audio; Inexpensive
Disappointing music performance; Dated design; No defining features
The Corsair HS50 headset is comfortable, with excellent sound quality and a decent mic phone for online games. The mic is clear and even on maximum volume the padding in the earmuffs is enough so any sound from your headphones isnu2019t transmitted into the mic phone (a blessing for your teammates).
Corsair HS50 gaming headset is a piece of hardware that gamers would like to own, but cannot say the same about music lovers.
It's hard to write a pointedly bad word against Corsair's Void Wireless Dolby 7.1 headset. It has pleasing sound, excellent battery life, a comfortable fit, and tasteful RGB lighting effects.
The Corsair Gaming Void is a beautiful piece of hardware. It has wireless capabilities which allow me to get away from my computer while still listening to whats playing. The RGB lighting make it look very nice unlike a plain old head set. The only problem with it is that it's a bit to clunky.
- Very Comfortable; - Mic is great; - Lots of control; - RGB lighting is nice
- A bit big (IMO
Story time!
Price; earphone sound quality; microphone sound quality; plug in/out microphone; break-away extender (splitter) - prevented something worse from breaking 2 times now
Needs more cushion AND needs the cushion secured better
Well hey now, impressive, for 50 USD/EUROs Corsair has a really good headset to offer! I mean, I heard you guys state it in previous Corsair reviews, please strip the RGB, wireless and audio card. Well, this is the end-result. A pure analog headset with two proper 50mm drivers.
