The HS50 Stereo is Corsair's new mainstream 3.5mm headset, which will sit alongside the Void Pro flagship range. We assume that more advanced SKUs of the HS50 will launch, but nothing has been confirmed.
Low cost headsets are often end up compromising on either comfort, audio quality or its construction. With that in mind, it makes sense that Corsair set their engineers to task to deliver a low-cost no-compromise gaming headset; enter the HS50.
The moment I start looking for a headset, I usually bypass anything less than $100, because the typical pricepoint that equates a high level of performance with an outstanding in-game experience is at least $100. At least. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
When we first started our journey of being computer nerds speakers were internal things that beeped. Then Soundblaster came along and we all converted to stereo speakers, something which seemed incredible at the time.
Corsair's latest HS50 headphones are a steal at $50. The size, build quality and audio quality are outstanding for today's gamer. Don't get left behind, missing either the in-game commentary or the multiplayer conversations.
Excellent, bought these when they were 79.99 on here Can't beat a wireless headset under 100$. Comfy, above average sound quality. Decent bass. No wireless latency that's notable. Only complaint would be that you can't remove the mic, but it folds up, out of the way.
I just started using these but wow the bass and depth of sound is amazing! Not having cords to worry about is great as well. The pic showed a yellow Corsair emblem on the side but it's actually a lighted emblem that changes color and I think you can choose a constant color if you want.
The Corsair Gaming Void is a beautiful piece of hardware. It has wireless capabilities which allow me to get away from my computer while still listening to whats playing. The RGB lighting make it look very nice unlike a plain old head set. The only problem with it is that it's a bit to clunky.
- Very Comfortable; - Mic is great; - Lots of control; - RGB lighting is nice
- A bit big (IMO
I was a bit unsure about the quality of a wireless headset, but thanks to the Corsair Void my faith has been restored. It may not be a true audiophiles peripheral, but for a Gamer you have RGB lighting, sturdy sleek design, configurable CUE software and the luxury of being wireless…
