Corsair HS50 STEREO Stereo Gaming Headset

Corsair is no stranger to the gaming headset market. Its VOID line of gaming headsets blends futuristic design with superb audio quality and exceptional comfort. In fact, the VOID Pro RGB is widely considered by many gamers as one of the best headsets.

Corsair HS50 Stereo Gaming Headset Review

Well hey now, impressive, for 50 USD/EUROs Corsair has a really good headset to offer! I mean, I heard you guys state it in previous Corsair reviews, please strip the RGB, wireless and audio card. Well, this is the end-result. A pure analog headset with two proper 50mm drivers.

Corsair HS50 STEREO Gaming Headset Review

The Corsair HS50 sets a very high bar for a budget-conscious gaming headset, trading surround effects for very high build quality (seriously, these are built like much more expensive headphones) and solid 2-channel sound.

Corsair HS50 Stereo Review

The HS50 Stereo is Corsair's new mainstream 3.5mm headset, which will sit alongside the Void Pro flagship range. We assume that more advanced SKUs of the HS50 will launch, but nothing has been confirmed.

Corsair HS50

The HS50 is the newest analogue gaming headset from Corsair. Priced under £60, this rather simplistic pair of cans offers great audio playback, decent build quality and a comfortable design.

Great value for money; Excellent sound quality; Strong and sturdy build; Very comfortable

Non-removable earcups; Requires a good DAC

Corsair HS50 Gaming Headset Review

When we first started our journey of being computer nerds speakers were internal things that beeped. Then Soundblaster came along and we all converted to stereo speakers, something which seemed incredible at the time.

Corsair HS50 Review

Low cost headsets are often end up compromising on either comfort, audio quality or its construction. With that in mind, it makes sense that Corsair set their engineers to task to deliver a low-cost no-compromise gaming headset; enter the HS50.

Really poor sound quality and bass

I keep accidentally turning on the microphone on my other headphones and needed a pair that either did not have a mic, or had the button somewhere my jacket, accidental brushing etc wouldn't turn on the annoying Google assistant accidentally repeatedly (mad annoying when you're at the gym -_-).
