The Corsair HS50 sets a very high bar for a budget-conscious gaming headset, trading surround effects for very high build quality (seriously, these are built like much more expensive headphones) and solid 2-channel sound.

The HS50 Stereo is Corsair's new mainstream 3.5mm headset, which will sit alongside the Void Pro flagship range. We assume that more advanced SKUs of the HS50 will launch, but nothing has been confirmed.

The HS50 is the newest analogue gaming headset from Corsair. Priced under £60, this rather simplistic pair of cans offers great audio playback, decent build quality and a comfortable design.

When we first started our journey of being computer nerds speakers were internal things that beeped. Then Soundblaster came along and we all converted to stereo speakers, something which seemed incredible at the time.
