The Corsair Sabre Optical RGB is one of the best mice in its class. There may be no shortage of great gaming mice in this price range, but if you're wanting a reliable mouse for work and play, with funky customisable lighting and great build quality, then you'll find a lot to love about the Sabre.

Front of the packaging looks rather simple with Corsair Gaming logo and highlights of a few features available of the mouse. On the left side of the box, it mentions that you need an internet connection (duh) to download the latest Corsair Utility Engine Software.
Any observant follower of the PC gaming market will have noticed the trend towards equipping peripherals with RGB lighting. The convergence of many gaming products in terms of performance means the extra customisability provided by RGB lighting makes for an interesting differentiator.

For £50, the Sabre Optical is a very good mouse. We have no real complaints about the performance of the optical sensor, and the build and materials are reassuringly high quality. We do wish a sniper button had been included, but nonetheless for claw and finger grip users looking for a light, nimble...

Just like any other Corsair gaming mice, the Sabre comes with a standard two-year warranty. It feels good in the hands of a claw grip or finger grip gamer, and it has just the right amount of weight. Its build quality is superb and it definitely feels solid and firm in the hand.
