Corsair Carbide SPEC 01 & 03 Review

We all know that Corsair make some of the best cases on the market, we also know that they do "High End" extremely well. What has perhaps been missing from their world dominating line up though is a decent value for money gaming case. Enter then the Spec-01.

Corsair Carbide SPEC 01 Review

Known for their excellent computer cases, Corsair are now a household name in this competitive arena. Whilst there are many series to choose from within their portfolio of cases, they aren't synonymous with being particularly affordable and so Corsair has decided to switch the focus and appeal to...

+ Easy on the eye; + Affordable to all; + Great feature-set for price; + Can add up to five cooling fans; + Excellent graphics card support

Corsair Carbide Series Spec-01 Review

Budget enclosures are rarely the most exciting, but they're a necessary and crucial part of the market due to the sheer volume of cases sold at lower price points, especially in developing economies around the world.

Corsair Carbide Series Spec-01 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

I really like the Spec-01, it stands out from the crowd in terms of design, mostly due to the aggressive, yet somehow understated front panel. Budget friendly chassis are often a little cheap feeling, with glossy plastics and thin metal panels, but that really isn't the case here.

Good build quality; Stylish design; Room for a long graphics card; Dust filtering on front intake and PSU mount; Capable cable routing; Very competitive price

One one pre-installed fan; More USB 3.0 ports on front panel would have been nice

CORSAIR CARBIDE SPEC 01 Gaming Case Review

These Corsair SPEC series are sold at an amazing price tag. One even starts to wonder how much profit can still be made with decent quality builds at this price level. The Carbide SPEC 01, is Corsair's lowest entry level offering, close to being considered as an OEM builder chassis.

Corsair SPEC-01 is a nice mid tower case that can help you to make a decent gaming build. It brings all latest features on your pc like tool less drive bays, cable management, multiple fan mount, etc. All this features are hard to find in regular tower.

Good Design and lightweight; Cable Management; Tool Less Drive Bays

Corsair Carbide Spec-01 Review

Corsair has been making some brilliant high end PC cabinets and it now seeks to capture the budget gamer market with its Carbide Spec series. We will be reviewing each of the three Spec series [...]

Excellent design with thoughtful touches; Great internal clearance; Good value for money; Good Build Quality

Top side of case can get cramped; Cables might show in gap between drive bays; No handles for ease of carrying around

Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Mid Tower Gaming Case

Although this might not be the single best cheap computer case on the market, it's a great option that gives you most everything you could want. It has seven expansion slots, so you get plenty of room for your cards and components on your motherboard.

a surprising mid level case

I really thought this was gonna be a tough case to build with..... boy was I wrong. This is my very first build from scratch and I am super pleased with this case. It has the features of an expensive case like cable Management, usb3.0 on the front and an LED fan without breaking the bank.

Reading some reviews, I though cable Management was going to be next to impossible, but I have a full atx mobo and it wasn't that bad; Yes it was a bit tight, but with even a small amount of forethought it came together perfectly; Heres some pros: -cable Management...

-It seems a bit scary to take the front cover off...; you really just pull from the bottom...; a lot; Hard; It does have a nice snapping noise when it goes back on though; -not enough fans; Expect to buy a couple fans...; what's that $25 bucks
