CM is known especially for its snazzy (and often gigantic) computer chassis and, of course, PC coolers of all kinds: case fans, CPU heat sinks, elaborate liquid-cooling gear. More recently, like many PC component makers, it has expanded into gaming peripherals—and in its MasterKeys line, created a keyboard brand that covers the field, from the pseudo-mechanical MasterKeys Lite L currently retailing for just over $50, to the top-of-the-line MasterKeys MK750 debuting today, with an MSRP of just under $160. The Cooler Master MasterKeys MK750 is a solid, pricey keyboard with excellent Cherry MX switches and a sober, yet RGB-bedecked, look. We'd like to see some software improvements, and a price drop.

The Masterkeys MK750 is the perfect way for many mechanical keyboard users to get what they want. It has an exposed top plate so that lighting effects are more pronounced, and to go along with it, we have three Lightbars, which adds even more color to the surrounding area on the desk.

This keyboard along with the nitro concepts gaming chair were my last upgrades I needed to complete my set up after building my first gaming rig 3 years ago. The difference between my generic ￡20 hp keyboard with broken legs is night and day!

Overpriced but quality

Easily the nicest keyboard I have ever used. Smooth keystroke action, not too loud and the best application of LED back lighting I have seen.

Today on the test bench we have the superb Cool Master Masterkeys MK750 Mechanical gaming keyboard, and it is incredible. Cooler Master's focus with this masterpiece was to revolutionize your gaming experience by focusing on features and matter.

There's really no middle ground when it comes to mechanical keyboards. Most computer users still have never heard the term and may react with annoyance at the "incessant clacking" coming from the next room or office. At least that's what our co-workers say.
