The Cisco name in an affordable home office package. It seems to be a very solidly built switch, and works without a fuss straight out of the box. My only complaint, and a minor one, really, is that there isn't any mention of what the port LED codes/colors mean in the documentation.

The switch is setup inside an office to expand the number of data ports instead of digging into the wall. It is used to power 2 cisco phones + 1 intranet server + 2 hard wired computers. It's been running since I set it up and had no issues.

Built like a tank!

Totally surprised that this switch has a metal outer case. Even came with screws to hang it on the wall. Easy to install, works great, Cisco quality. Would buy again in a heartbeat, B&H had it to me in one day, best customer service, Go B&H!

I wish I'd known about switch boxes sooner. Finally I have great internet quality throughout the entire home. I bought a 100' Ethernet cord with these and ran one box the back of our home and still getting 300mbps download speeds as I do in the front of the home now, even with 8 connections in each...
