Chanel Cristalle EDT and EDP : Perfume Review
There are some fragrances that one cannot forget, even if for one reason or another, the love affair is suspended, and the bottle is not replaced. When I moved to the US, my perfume bottles were left at the old apartment and, alas, never retrieved. Cristalle was one of them.

Grassy lemonade
Different, is a good word to start with when it comes to describing Cristalle by Chanel. Although Cristalle is often referred to as a 70's scent, it is surprisingly modern for its time. The fragrance opens with crisp and refreshing lemon supported by a blend of dry and unsweetened florals.

Gorgeous, light, floral, green scent
This has been my favourite fragrance for years and I never get tired of it. It smells like Lily of the Valley and lemons mixed with something expensive yet light scented. It lingers well and I am often asked what I am wearing.

My favorite
I love the original Opium & the original Halston but for day to day, Chanel Cristalle is my favorite. BTW - the common element between<br />my favorites (Cristalle, Opium & Halston) is AMBER.

Bright and crisp
Cristalle has a shrill and piercing opening which takes a bit to settle down. It's like getting hit in the face with an icy cold snowball - so cold, brisk, and sharp that it takes a while to bring yourself back down to earth. Cristalle is definitely a 'green' scent personified.
