Much like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze before it, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was a true gem on the Wii-U that simply didn't get the recognition it deserved due to the system's relative scarcity in the gaming marketplace.

I got this game for my 5 year old son. He is pretty good at games but this one is a little more difficult for him and he gets frustrated. I however, love to play it because it is like a giant puzzle. He likes to give me a turn when it gets a little too hard and cheers me on the whole time.

After daycare, since a few weeks , my 3 yo keeps telling me that she wants to see the "mushrooms" so once a day I play for about half an hour. She understands that the goal is to catch the stars and she likes to choose the next map. Personally, I enjoy the game and I would have played anyway alone.
