This was my first Speedlite flash. I found it very capable, but somewhat underpowered. I say capable because there are a number of features that I was very (pleasantly) surprised by that make up somewhat for the flash being underpowered.

This is a great budget flash...Very versatile...can double up as wireless trigger and LED light source... Alot lighter than the bigger brothers 430ex and 580ex, so more suitable for lighter canon body, like the rebel series..

Keen to update my mid range flash around a year ago I didn't know where to begin, there are so many on the market and prices vary vastly (as with anything related to photography).

Introduction of the Canon Speedlite 320EX Flash has blurred the Canon flash selection decision making process. Unlike the vast majority of Canon's recently released flashes, the 320EX did not replace a previously-available flash model.

It was very easy to use right out of the box. Simple to understand. Really like the LED option for taking movies in dark or low light settings.

Was pleased with the ease of use and compatibilty with my T4i, wish there was more manual abilities. Otherwise, what sets this flash apart is the fill video light which is very useful in short video interviews, etc.

Very easy to use and very durable. I accidentally pulled the camera from the tabletop when the strap got caught up. The flash actually bounced off the hardwood floor and nothing happened to it

I wanted a good flash for my daughters wedding. After reading up on this flash it was what I needed. I thought the price was a little to high. Could have gone cheaper, but again it was for my daughters wedding. The light on the flash works good when I use the T3i for video.
