Canon 320EX Review

The Canon 320EX flash is Canon's best small flash. It has almost as much power and recycles almost as fast as the superb Canon 430EX II , but for less money with less weight. The quality is the same; the 320EX is a first-rate product.

Canon Speedlite 320EX Flash Review

Introduction of the Canon Speedlite 320EX Flash has blurred the Canon flash selection decision making process. Unlike the vast majority of Canon's recently released flashes, the 320EX did not replace a previously-available flash model.

Double duty

Sure, your DSLR can do double-digit megapixel images all day long, but now that it also captures HD video what about that aging external flash or heaven forbid, built-in flash? Canon heeds the call with its new well-priced Speedlite 320EX ($249) .

Underpowered but Capable

This was my first Speedlite flash. I found it very capable, but somewhat underpowered. I say capable because there are a number of features that I was very (pleasantly) surprised by that make up somewhat for the flash being underpowered.

Durable; Easy To Use; Lightweight; Masterslave; Versatile; Wireless

Slow Recycling; Weak Output

Easy to use!

It was very easy to use right out of the box. Simple to understand. Really like the LED option for taking movies in dark or low light settings.

Works for still shots or video HD movies

Takes a little getting used to; the added weight on the camera

Good Flash

Was pleased with the ease of use and compatibilty with my T4i, wish there was more manual abilities. Otherwise, what sets this flash apart is the fill video light which is very useful in short video interviews, etc.

Consistent Output; Durable; Easy To Use; Fast Recycling; Powerful Output

Perfect Flash

Very easy to use and very durable. I accidentally pulled the camera from the tabletop when the strap got caught up. The flash actually bounced off the hardwood floor and nothing happened to it

Consistent Output; Durable; Easy To Use; Fast Recycling; Lightweight; Powerful Output; Versatile

Works Great with my Canon T3i

I wanted a good flash for my daughters wedding. After reading up on this flash it was what I needed. I thought the price was a little to high. Could have gone cheaper, but again it was for my daughters wedding. The light on the flash works good when I use the T3i for video.

Good flash for a very good price

Okay so i have had this flash for a little over 2 weeks and so for everything is great. This is my first flash ever but right off the bat I can say that this blows the pop up flash out of the water. The recycle time seems to be above average.

quiet; Good Exposure performance; Superior build quality; Fast recycling time; slave setting

no option for diffuser
