Canon Powershot SX500 IS Review
If you are on a budget and want a high-zoom full-body camera, you will love the PowerShot SX500.
Pros:
- The PowerShot's wide-angle lens offers a 30x zoom and has both manual and semi-manual controls
Cons:
- This digital bridge camera only records video in 720p HD

Handy pocket camera
The Canon powershot SX500 designed in such fashion that people who need some something pocketable camera would like it. But those people who want a big and stylish and chunky camera would not get attracted easily towards this. It has a super zooming facility of 30X, 24 mm wide angle zoom.

Although the Canon PowerShot SX500 offers a pretty nice feature list, its performance is below average in enough areas that it's tough to recommend this camera to most photographers who are just seeking a large zoom camera.

Digital camera and kit
This really arrived quickly..It has a lot of accessories and was convenient to have a ready made kit. The camera itself is great! I have another Canon PowerShot that is much heavier and larger. I have had 2 neck surgeries and needed a more light weight model.

Towards the end of last year I was asked to go to South Africa for work (it's a hard life, I know!) and decided to spend some time afterwards visiting some of the national parks out there.

Awesome Camera with Excellent Zoom
Camera is Awesome... Zoom is Excellent... GOOD Things about this Camera 1. Awesome ZOOM Use TRIPOD for Best RESULT. 2. Nice BRIDGE Camera. 3. Image Stabilization is Very GOOD. 4. In-Built Features are Good. 5. Easy to USE. ------------------------------------ Some BAD Things about this Camera 1.

Canon PowerShot SX500 IS
A real mode dial lets you choose full Manual mode, Aperture priority, Shutter priority or Program mode (which lets you program your favorite settings into your own custom mode), plus preset modes like Discreet (which shuts off all sound and lights). You can focus manually, but there's no lens ring.
Pros:
- 30x zoom lens
- Good image quality in bright light
- Full manual controls with built-in-help
Cons:
- Not for fast action or indoor photography
