I sent the camera in and they just sent me an E-mail that they were going to exchange my "new" hardly used camera with a used one. I called them to complain, but they told me that that's they way they do things. Also, the used camera has the same serial number sequence that has problems.

I've owned about 6 Powershots; This one was out of focus for about half the photos and videos from day one; I pre-ordered it because I wanted to have it for my vacation in Cancun.
I love this series of cameras, but the flashing battery light after only a couple of minutes of video make it unusable for me. Check that, it is just plain defective since HD video is one of it's main touted features.

Canon is the one of the world's best known camera brands. Its powershot series has got some outstanding cameras for professional photography and videography. I bought the canon powershot sx280 hs on my friends recommendation.
