Canon PowerShot S90 Review
This camera is white hot – forget about getting a good deal for months. Checking legit online retailers, we only found list price and higher! Now is $429 a deal for a point-and-shoot?
Pros:
- Terrific low-light shooter
- typical high-quality Canon photos
- extensive photo adjustments via control dials
- excellent LCD screen
Cons:
- Watch your fingers with pop-up flash
- button placement takes getting used to
- slow frame rate

I'll be straightforward here – I like the Canon PowerShot S90, I like it a LOT. Here's why – it's packed to the brim with features, yet is as small as an average compact camera. After four long years, the Canon S-series is finally back with the all new PowerShot S90.

Canon PowerShot S90
As of May 11, 2010, Canon has announced the release of the , a slightly pared-down version of the S90 reviewed here. The SD4000 IS features the same f2.0, wide-angle lens as the S90 as well as aperture- and shutter-speed-priority shooting modes.
Pros:
- Excellent control system for manual, semimanual shooting

- Performance is merely average
