Reviews: Canon PowerShot S90: Review
The 10.0 megapixel image capture and movie recording specs, while impressive, are not something that helps the S90 stand out on value when compared with other digital compact cameras on the market.

Good Reliable Camera
Good Reliable Camera. For the price I paid I would have hoped the picture quality was better, nothing special. Purchased a Nikon 3200 for cheaper and it's a much better camera.

The Canon PowerShot S90 is a high-end point & shoot camera that takes great photos and provides great manual controls for serious shooters. The video it captures is lackluster, though.

Canon PowerShot S90
Nicely made and capable of great images, the Canon PowerShot S90 is a worthy alternative to low-end DSLRs

Canon S90 Review
A big step forward from the S1 model, and a very competitive digital SLR.
Pros:
- Colors are off
- On five different S2 Pro bodies I've seen, I've seen five slightly different color interpretations
- Some were off subtly, one was quite blue, another quite reddish in tint
- You can't judge color by the color LCD, The protective cover has to be removed to see well .

Canon Powershot S90
Using the S90, the combination of user-friendly technology, small size and sheer DSLR power is quite addictive. With this new S-series model Canon has raised the bar on compact camera technology, but there's more to a camera than circuitry and some handling issues need to be addressed.

There's been something of a 'serious compact camera' renaissance in the last couple of years, led by Panasonic with the LX series and Canon with the G9/10/11. That said, the choices for the enthusiast wanting full photographic control in a pocketable package are still very limited (even the LX3 is...

Cons:
- Highlight clipping and channel clipping in bright
- contrasty conditions
- Rear dial rotates too freely and cannot be disabled
- so accidental settings changes too common
- No noise reduction options
- JPEG NR too strong at higher ISO settings
- Video limited to VGA resolution
- Lack of grip and smooth,...
