Compact, attractive, functional
We replaced another PowerShot which was dying right before a vacation. After taking video and photos throughout Europe we looked at the results and they were truly marvelous. The size of the camera and function are terrific. It's cute and lady like.

Pretty nice camera
I bought it last week. It is much better than most Canon digital cameras out there. The wide angle is enough for nice landscape photos, and the CMOS sensor is amazing. If you're looking for a camera in the mid-two hundred range, pony up a little more for this. It's worth it.

Bought this camera for the HD recording
Okay. I just bought this camera on Amazon. I bought this camera for one thing and that is just for the HD video shooting. The reason why I bought it just for the video recording is because I want it to be compact so I can take it to concert without having to carry my camcorder.
Pros:
- Video recording
Cons:
- nothing

Excellent device. Camera has a tiny, light and cute, with a very powerful for its size optical zoom. Problems: Closing speed. The first picture can only be done through 2.95 seconds after pressing the power button, while most compact fit in the 2-second standard.

I don't love this camera
Good...not great! slow shutter, difficult navigation It's not easy to use at all... it has been dropped a time or two and everything seems to be intact. great size and weight. Maybe it's that me and the touch screen can't get along. I can never seem to get this camera to do what I want when i want.

Great value; hope to learn to be a better photographer.
So far this camera has exceeded my expectations. Going from my last Sony to this Canon has been a big advance for me. The touch screen is something else and no need for a view finder. Hope it lasts through a million shots. Time will tell!

Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS
Canon goes after the smartphone crowd with a pocketable wide-angle lens and a large touchscreen interface. Low light performance is good, and gets better with the company's Handheld NightScene mode.
Pros:
- 12.1-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, Outstanding 3.2-inch LCD screen rated 461K dots, Compact size with 4.4x optical zoom lens, 24-105mm eq
- lens is very wide with reasonable telephoto reach, Excellent low-light shooter, Optical image stabilization, Tack-sharp stills, Usable prints at all ISOs, Fun...
Cons:
- Tiny
- hard-edged zoom toggle switch
- Below average battery life
- Noticeable chromatic aberration
- especially at wide angle
- 24 fps videos a bit jerky
- Mics exaggerate wind noise
- LCD adjustment buried in menu system
- Heavy softening in upper right corner at wide angle
- Sluggish 1.6 fps burst mode at

Quantum leap in technology
At last! Canon have finally cracked it...a point-and-shoot that has everything...24mm super-wide angle lens, HD movie, 16:9 format, fabulous large touchscreen, Aperture or Shutter Priority as well as fully automatic, and custom settings, plus a FAST 2.0 lens for great available light shots in dark...

Great camera
Purchased this camera before going on vacation. I was really satisfied with the shipping, I received it quickly. As well, I was really satisfied with the camera itself. I was able to take good pictures and shoot videos while on vacation.

Canon Ixus 310 HS: Canon Ixus 310HS : Best Touch Screen Camera From Canon
No different from other Canon cameras, I get a USB cable and AV cable in the sales package. In addition, charger, strap, CD applications, and guide books. The range of only 4.4 x zoom lens Slightly shorter than the Ixus in general.
