Canon EOS M10 review
While the Canon EOS M3 , which we reviewed back in May 2015, is designed to appeal to relatively experienced photographers looking for a comparatively small camera with a similar level of control to an SLR, the new EOS M10 is aimed at those who are a little newer to photography.
Pros:
- Proven 18Mp APS-C format sensor
- Well implemented touch control
- Nice build and reasonably small
Cons:
- No viewfinder or option to use an external unit
- No hotshoe for an external flash
- Limited lens range

Canon's new entry-level mirrorless shows commitment
The EOS M10 shows that Canon's committed to the mirrorless ILC market, but also that it's still behind the curve.

We took Canon's mirrorless Canon EOS M10 for a shoot in a derelict, abandoned mill in East London

With the launch of the entry-level M10, Canon now has two current models in its CSC line-up for the very first time. Slotting below the enthusiast-aimed M3, it's the third EF-M mount camera to hit the UK market.

Great Camera!
I've been using this camera since November and love it! It's perfect for backpacking with and stock set-up captures great images at night! It's been a great amateur photog journey, and I'm really looking forward to using the body to venture into use of different lenses. Examples see my IG: Hann3k3n

Canon EOS M10
Canon's first true entry-level mirrorless camera, the EOS M10, combines good image quality with a user-friendly design and great touchscreen interface. With that said, its affordable price point does lead to some compromises in terms of both design and performance.
Pros:
- User-friendly design
- great touchscreen interface
- good image quality
Cons:
- No viewfinder
- limited physical controls
- sub-par continuous shooting
- lacking video features

Canon EOS M10
This is one of a new variety of cameras that have interchangeable lenses but are still almost small enough to fit into a pocket, yes they are therefore a DSLR but probably not considered so by the purist. Meet the CanonEOSM10 which is a mirrorless camera.
