- Live view AF performance
- Touchscreen control
- AF-On button
- Excellent image quality
Cons:
- No 4K video capture

What's in a name? The EOS 77D may, at first glance, appear to be a new entry for Canon to slot between their Rebel T7i and EOS 80D. But dig a little deeper into the specifications and you'll see that the differentiators between the 77D and the Rebel T7i are about as significant as those between the...

Canon 77D has a real fast DIGIC 7 processor which is capable of shooting great quality images in various lighting conditions. Having the 45 focus points, it makes object tracking quiet easy and keep the subject in focus. At this price, this is one of the best choices but doesn't support 4K videos.
Pros:
- Fast DIGIC 7 processor
- 45-point object tracking
- image quality
Cons:
- No 4K
- but you can shoot in 1080p at 50fps

Canon EOS 77D
A couple of years ago, Canon added two similar models to its EOS line-up in the form of the EOS 750D and EOS 760D . At the time, we questioned the manufacturer's rationale behind creating two cameras with near-identical specifications.
Pros:
- Comprehensive set of features
- Spritely autofocus in and out of live view
- Guided interface to aid DSLR newbies
- Effective in-body electronic stabilisation for movies
Cons:
- No weather sealing
- In-camera JPEG processing suppresses detail
- More expensive than competition
