The box is not properly sealed with just a small little circular piece of plastic which expands in heat. The goods could be returned and the retailer could sell this to another customer. Canon should sort this security seal so you know you are getting a brand new camera.
Excellent value & quality
My son shot a feature length documentary with this camera and it came out fantastic. This is a great starter or "state 2" set for an up-and-coming film maker.
Canon EOS 70D Review
The EOS 70D has same yet improved features of EOS 60D and its quality and performance surpasses previous versions. The phase detection feature in AF system, fully atriculated touchscreen, and built-in Wi-Fi makes EOS 70D competitive among its rivals.
EOS 70D
The video is pretty good. Or at least, the focusing capabilities are better than on other EOS DSLR cameras to date. When this video system gets improved and put on higher end cameras, Canon will really have something!!- Easy To Use
- Large Clear LCD
- Tilt /Swivel LCD
- Wifi Capability
- Noisy At High ISO
The Canon 700D is a portable good camera to someone who is aspiring to be a professional photographer or videographer. 700D shoots Full HD video however only in 24frames p/s, 18.0 megapixels, the down side is the 700D has only 9 points of auto focus , and it doesn't work at all.
let me start with the only negative point: ISO noise kicks in far too early otherwise everything is good. colour rendition excellent and predictable (although not very saturated), and offer a solid starting point for further post processing, DPAF works good, it seems to read your mind when focusing,...
Canon EOS 80D vs Canon EOS 70D: a worthwhile improvement?
The Canon EOS 70D was an amazing release by Canon. Its update, the Canon EOS 80D, is a great camera but it feels like the company didn't do enough to make it stand out on its own with new features. Still a great camera for beginners, but are you willing to pay the extra cash to have one?
70d is not a good option with kit lens 18-135 mm
Canon 70d allows you a very good video result but its image quality fails with the 18-135mm kit lens . so if you want to shoot video its best option ( use prime lenses for video ) if you want to shoot pictures you should upgrade your lens to the canon l series lens .
Canon EOS 70D
The 70D is nothing less than the big DSLR release of 2013. The ground between Canon's single-digit and triple-digit DSLRs has long housed some impressive cameras, catering for those looking to take the step up from entry-level DSLR photography.- Great touchscreen performance
- Impressive 19-point AF system
- Dual-pixel sensor AF delivers fantastic Live-view AF performance
- Solid build
- Slight issues with AWB performance
- Limited creative filter implementation
