Canon EOS 70D review
At first glance the Canon EOS 70D may look like just another DSLR. But it's oh so much more than that: the 70D wages all-out war against not only the rest of the mid-level DSLR market, but also has the technology to take on mirrorless models - often called compact system cameras - too. How so?
Pros:
- Dual Pixel autofocus closes the live view gap between DSLR and CSC cameras - it's very impressive
- proven 19-point AF system works well in most lighting conditions
- 7fps burst at full resolution with decent buffer
- great image quality
- responsive touchscreen
- long-lasting battery life,...
Cons:
- Not 100% FoV viewfinder
- high ISO noise reduction a little rough
- autofocus can unwontedly drift between subjects during movie capture
- no headphone jack for audio monitoring
- some overexposure
- filters unavailable in raw + JPEG shooting
- single SD
- Wi-Fi functionality needs improving

Great upgrade
Upgraded to this from a 550D which I had for around 18 months.<br />There are a lot more features on this compared to the 550D. All useful. I've had the 70D for just over a month, it takes some getting used to as the settings, buttons and dials are all in different places, but once you find your way...
Pros:

The canon 70D is a brilliant camera, the DSLR met up to my expectations and what I had read upon about it. The camera is exactly what I wanted and I would recommend this product to a lot of people.

Brilliant camera!
I purchased this camera for a trip to Canada - and I'm so glad that I did! Going on a family trip, I took 90% of my pics on auto settings without a tripod and they came out fantastic - I just didn't have the time to fiddle with settings when I needed to get the right shot at that moment while...

Great DSLR for the enthusiast.
I upgraded from a Canon T3i and couldn't be happier. The touch screen and video was never a factor in my purchasing of this camera but now I find these features indispensable.
Pros:
- What I like about it
- Fast focusing, 19 cross type focus points
- Very nice ISO performance
- Touch screen is awesome
- Sturdy build quality and nice ergonomics
- The video quality is excellent combined with STM lenses
- Battery perfomance is very good
Cons:
- No headphone jack
- not a deal breaker

First impressions of the 70D were underwhelming. It looks just like a 60D and IQ not much different either. A big omission was the lack of GPS which was highly annoying as its on the FF 6D; so I expected it on the 70D The touch screen is little more that a gimmick for the benefit for the camera...
Pros:

- video qualty tilting LCD screen
Cons:
- No GPS , Image shadow noise at high ISO
- Af/F not easy for a beginner

State of the art AF system - Video is a dream
The upcharge for a QVC purchase on this camera body isn't that bad compared to some other Photography equipment I see on here. Of course, easy pay makes this far more convenient for some folks, like myself. I upgraded from the T3i (Another QVC purchase#.

Canon 70D
This camera is everything you've ever wanted in a DSLR. Excellent Auto Focus, perfect amount of focus points and focusing very fast on moving subjects. Feels solid in the grip of your hand, comfortable size.

Got it all
I purchased it from somewhere else in Hong Kong, but quite like the product. It's got the wifi too and works perfectly nice with EOS android mobile app.
