Great Camera Great Service Great Price

With the Price drop from ABT I was finally able to afford this unit. It SMOKES my 2 other (older) Canon Digital SLR units. The large screen makes it SO MUCH easier to do a quick check for what you shot. The large screen may even give you an IDEA to move a subject or yourselt to improve your shot.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
  • Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
  • Fast Shutter Speed
  • Good Image Quality
  • High ISO Performance
  • Large Clear LCD
  • Tilt /Swivel LCD
Cons:
  • None

Canon EOS 60D – Review

For a while now, I've had a feeling that the megapixel (MP) counts of digital cameras were headed straight down. I assumed that manufacturers would see sense and offer lower resolution sensors with better high-ISO performance, instead of pushing for more pixels.
Pros:
  • High-resolution sensor
  • Good high-ISO performance
  • Marvellous image quality
  • Vari-angle LCD
Cons:
  • Minor ergonomic issues
  • Kit lens doesn't look as good as the camera

"Canon 60d is amazingly flawless!"

I wanted to try the canon 60d to start seriously making videos, and maybe take a couple of pictures, but the camera got me hooked. I had some prior experience with photography, but never video. It was all new to me but the Menu formats were so easy to master.
Pros:
  • Vari Angle LCD
  • 18.0 MP
  • Live View Mode
  • Full HD
  • 3 inch LCD
  • ISO 6400
  • 5:3 fps
Cons:
  • shooting inside with no outside light gives an orangeish color
  • but that might be my crappy lens

Wow! what a great upgrade!

I bought this to upgrade from my original Digital Rebel. Holy cow, what an upgrade! Besides the obvious capability of video taking, the camera is way more feature-rich. The 18-200 lens, while it is a little on the bulky side, is one of the best "walking around" lenses you can get.
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
  • Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
  • Fast Shutter Speed
  • Good Image Quality
  • Good Image Stabilization
  • Great lens
  • High ISO Performance
  • Large Clear LCD
  • Quiet
  • Tilt /Swivel LCD

Cannon 60D a def. Upgrade!

Got this for Christmas! My husband reseached this camera. I really wanted the 7D but the difference between the two was not significant...only the price. Takes very clear pictures.

Skeptism put to rest

A very cautious buyer in this internet world of commerce transactions Skeptical, old fashioned and prepared to "bang a head" should I be taken for a ride. This product has lived up to the independent reviews and I am looking forward to getting out and about once the miserable winter has slid by.

This is a great camera. I had a 350D for 7 years that I was very pleased with and wanted to upgrade. I have to say that this camera does not disappoint. The focusing is fast and accurate, the colour tones on the pictures are spot on and the light metering is right every time.
