Canon 5D Mark IV
The Canon 5D Mark IV offers a ton of new features and performance upgrades, but keeps things modest and familiar with its similar yet refined design. Review: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
The Canon 5D family, which is one of the most well-known series of camera bodies, has seen the release of the newest model over four years after the 5D MKIII, and it's loaded with some much wanted and needed improvements.

Incredible kit
I debated for years getting a 5D series Canon, but I finally took the plunge with the Mark IV. And I wish I had done it earlier. True to form Canon don't do really well with instructions or guides, but there are plenty of valuable online resources.

Major changes that aren't spoken about much...
I'll start off by mentioning the Focus System. Although it has 61 focus points, 41 being cross type, like the 5D Mark iii, it is not the same focus system merely spread out more and rated at lower light levels. It's a far more intelligent system, the same one that's in the 1DX Mark ii.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV review
While the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV may look underwhelmingly familiar to the model in supersedes at first sight, don't be fooled – the engineers at Canon haven't stood still. Compared to the EOS 5D Mark III, pretty much every element has been tweaked and improved upon.
Pros:
- Responsive touchscreen
- Advanced AF system
- Live View AF performance
- Excellent sensor performance
- 7fps burst shooting
- Connectivity options
Cons:
- Expensive compared to rivals
- ISO range hasn't increased
- 4K video options limited

Superb results from Canon EOS V Mk IV
Stunning results at the first two events I used it at. Went from EOS V Mk II to EOS V Mk IV and can get more keepers and use far higher ISO values at low light non-flash indoor venues. I am very happy with my purchase and have no reservations in recommending it.
Pros:
- Excellent In Low Light
- Great Resolution
- Nice Features and Settings
- Rugged

Takes photographs of things you can't even see!
Awesome camera. I've wanted a full frame Canon digital for some time and was always a bit put off by the price. In my mind I couldn't justify spending more on a camera than I would on a s/h motorbike as I'm just an average amateur snapper (just an average amateur everything really.......).

I would buy this product again
The canon 5d Mark IV is a heavy duty camera for heavy duty photographers! Living on the island of Kauai I am always challenged with rain, wind, sand and sun, I could not capture life on the islands with out my Canon 5D Mark IV. Nothing I have ever owned has stood up to the elements like this camera.
